I’m a Brooklyn based actor, writer, singer, and professional goofball. I’m originally from D.C. and I’m a proud graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts High School and afterwards I received my BFA in Acting from SUNY Purchase.
From a young age I knew I wanted to pursue acting and I have be honing and crafting my practice ever since. I have studied with Roslyn Williams, Chris McCann, Dean Irby, J. Allen Suddeth and other amazing teachers. I’ve made my sketch debut with a Boogie Manja Sketch Comedy Collective team called Plant Moms! (It’s a riot, there’s proof in my portfolio). I’m a resident actor and director with The Story Pirates, an organization that inspires and amplifies children’s voices by teaching them the fundamentals of storytelling (I seriously have the coolest job).
Over the years I’ve developed into an eclectic artist: I sing, write and produce my own music, I play a bunch of instruments like guitar, flute (I played if before Lizzo made it cool ok?!) clarinet, tenor sax, I’m pretty much a woodwind guy. I write poetry, short films, short plays and monologues. In my determination to make space for other queer POC I recently produced, filmed, and starred in the pilot for Types-n-Such, a web-series I created to represent women who don’t feel seen because of their ethnicity, their size, or their background AND it’s also a shameless exposition of all of my worst OKCupid dates. Relentless in my pursuits I am a hard working creator on the grind and ready to work and I’m always cooking up cool projects so make sure you stay tuned!
